I am an artist and illustrator, based in the Los Angeles area.
Since 2003 I have worked as an artist for entertainment advertising media. As fun and rewarding as that work has been all these years, I would like to get into more fashion/ costume art. Prior to advertising, I briefly dabbled in creating artwork for costume and fashion designers, and I think getting back into that work would provide me added creative satisfaction and inspiration. As LA has it’s fair share of life drawing workshops and sessions, there seem to be far fewer opportunities for drawing sessions that focus on fashion and drapery, so I would look to hire models here to provide fashion poses . Their work would be indispensable in providing reference for the way clothes, fabric fall/ are activated in whatever poses they strike. My hope is to build a nice body of fashion art work, hopefully leading to more opportunities and a different creative direction for me.
