I tend to like candids as well as juxtaposing humans with interesting backgrounds. These can be complementary or jarringly different. I additionally enjoy asking models to display emotion in understated ways. In a sense, I want a lack of expression or a half-expression to speak louder than one might normally give when one thinks there is an expectation.

I would like to get into a genre I think of as “incidental nudes,” which to me is where partial nudity is part of the photo, but not the focus.

I’m here both to look for test subjects as well as to draw inspiration from other photographers.
