Greetings,

My name is Hikaru Kiyonaga. I am an OCAD alumnus, in industrial design, metalsmith/foundry and design.

My career has expanded over the past 18years into fashion and lifestyle magazine publishing, as Publisher, Editor in Chief, and Photographer for our many fashion editorials, which has been published nationwide in print at Chapters/Indigo, Whole Foods, Great Canadian News, and select newsstands across Canada. For over 25 years I have mentored and taught students in art and design, as well as darkroom photo development. I love chemical engagements in photography.

My work expressed in this platform will be more experimental and new expressions of my work and art. Much of it also to be shot in B/W print in which I will develop in my darkroom, into large prints for clients, and of course in digital.

For this platform I am exploring expressions in photography, for more intimate themes, expressing sensuality, relationships, human expressions, connections and emotions.

The work I create will be published in my various platforms, or for my clients use.
