Certified Makeup Artist / Skin Care Professional

As a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Nashville’s Skin Academy and current instructor of makeup artistry courses, I’m constantly steeped in the beauty industry in one way or another. At this point, I’m looking to re-focus my freelance work towards more artistic opportunities. I have worked makeup for a number of shoots, weddings, and other events, but I prefer more eclectic photos for my book. So, as I am staying extremely busy with other forms of work within the skin and makeup industries, I’m still interested in shoots that will serve to enhance my portfolio and artistic ability.

Although I cannot always accommodate TFP/TFCD work, I am willing to collaborate on shoots where the theme and look/s are in line with work I’d like to see in my portfolio.

I believe that above anything else passion builds skill. So, I’m less interested in everything you’ve already done – and more interested in what you’re looking to do. The same goes for me. I haven’t completed near the work I would like to, and I’m always looking for people who have a similar vision.

Photographers: I worship good photographers. I have found that a lot of individuals cannot decipher between smut and sophistication. I adore the photographer who grasps the difference and aims for achieving sophistication in his/her shoots – no matter how sultry, sexy, or provocative. I appreciate the work and vision that photographers put into their creations, and when working a shoot – I find their input invaluable. I teach the importance of the MUA/Photographer relationship in my private courses.

Models: I love to see the beauty in all things – people included. That said, I’m as impressed with a beautiful spirit as I am a beautiful face. Please keep that in mind. Additionally, I love working with models who offer diversity to my portfolio – whether this comes in the form of skin tone or some interesting themed shoot – I am all about new projects and new faces.
