My name is Jamila and I have been a make up artist for 15 years. I started my career with Sephora in San Francisco and worked with the Brand for about 2 years. I left Sephora after being recruited to work for an amazing brand called Paula Dorf. I learned so much about different skintones and different makeup looks. After about a year I was the recruited from Paula Dorf to the biggest brand in cosmetics, MAC. I fell in love with brand instantly and worked with them for about 8 years. I was an original member of the Impact team I was one of the first to participate in SF passport as well as SF fashion week.
After my career with MAC was over I freelanced for Brands such as NARS SMASHBOX and. Dior cosmetics to sharpen my skills and prepare myself for any and all makeup looks different eye shapes and skintones, for all occasion from weddings to edtional photoshoots.
