I am a digital and film photographer that currently moving to the East Bay and works in San Francisco. I was born in Manila, Philippines, and was exposed to a combination of the vibrant and conflicting nature of a metropolis and the lush beauty of the tropics. I’ve learned my photographic and darkroom skills through a combination of hands-on experience and formal classes while living and traveling in the West and the Midwest. While I had an interest in photography and making photographs since I was young, beginning with flipping through the photography books in the family library, I started challenging myself to understand and learn the craft of photography over the past years. In the last two years I've been expanding my work by challenging myself to photograph more people.

*FYI - My day job has a schedule & work load that can interfere heavily with my ability to schedule shoots so my availability can fluctuate, depending on the day job's needs.*

I am inspired by early photography (pre-1940's), and low light/low-fi looks. Vintage is always welcome, whether in clothing choices, looks, location or concepts. Experimenting with light - soft, colder, gels or directional - as ways to enhance or set a mood - is always intriguing to me as well.

I am interested in working with projected images - this is an ongoing learning process and project for me.

I am very interested in collaborating with models to create a narrative structure for a photo series. I have some ideas in mind, and I'm always happy to discuss possibilities. Is there a story that might be told? Can we make it happen? Let's try and find out.
