Most of my photography experience goes back to shooting weddings and events in the days of film using medium format gear.  During that time, I’ve also enjoyed TFP shoots with models to help develop each others’ portfolios.  Working with people to see what we can come up with for ideas and then seeing the output in the pictures is part of what makes photography rewarding.  The style I default to is an extension of my location shooting experience, so environmental portraits that are more commercial or lifestyle than fine art.  While I can use natural light, I also like to experiment with my portable lighting equipment.
