Joy Lee is a portrait and fashion photographer residing in New York City. Originally born in China, Joy moved to the United States ten years ago and studied photography at School of Visual Arts in New York.

With a lifelong fascination with the fashion industry, Joy’s work is a mix of clean studio portraiture, and editorial fashion and beauty. Joy has a passion for what she creates. She loves working with models, transferring their energy into the photographs she makes. When creating the images, Joy has an intimate and spontaneous approach. She captures the subjects at their genuine ease and confidence. Her unique vision offers the audience a different perspective on viewing portraitures.
