Joey Alvarez is a San Diego transplant who discovered his passion for color, makeup artistry & the beauty of the human form when he relocated to the tri-state area. It was here that he met his partner and muse, Diamond Melendez.

Alvarez worked with a posh clientele at Solace Day Spa & Salon when he was recruited for a position with M.A.C. cosmetics through the retail giant, Nordstrom. He honed his technical prowess through innovative training and earned his certification as an official M.A.C. artist.

Now, Alvarez explores more entrepreneurial endeavors. He is constantly evolving his own brand to bring his clientele the freshest translations of his unique artistic vision.
