I have over 20 years experience as a photographer and digital artist and live in a stunning part of South Devon not far from Dartmoor National Park.

I have a passion for creating outstanding images of people and landscapes. I am very experienced in model portfolio photography helping with direction and advice upon the look, feel and atmosphere of a pose.

When working with people I am willing to work with new models and help them by providing direction and advice if required in a fun and comfortable atmosphere. I am as experienced in working with people who are new to modelling and feeling their way as I am in working with experienced models of all ages.

I shoot portrait, situation inspired, model portfolios, glamour, landscape, macro, wildlife and create digital art. I work mainly with digital technology but I am am also passionate about shooting in film to create atmosphere, texture and grain. After processing all film created photographs are also converted into digital copies.

I love working outside, going to locations using natural light where possible, but I am very flexible with different styles of photography and I am an experienced studio photographer. I love to use the colours and textures of nature or the harshness of urban landscapes which all change dependant upon the time of day and year. From the warm soft lights around sunrise and sunset in summer to the harshness of the cold clear light or misty hazes in winter.

When I work I like to give direction and I am also more than happy to receive ideas, and this is something that I encourage. I am of the opinion that the creative process when working with a model requires the input of the photographer / artist and model / models to help achieve stunning results.

I am fun to work with and I have an eye for the alternative, different, unusual, unconventional, unique and refreshing pose, scene or situation to capture with my camera to create stunning photographs and visual images. I like to create something special. So as said above please feel free to contribute with your own ideas or suggestions.

A short but important bit about the shoot admin.

Before shooting starts I will ask for a model release form to be signed and a photopraph of the model will be taken to go with the form. The model must show their ID before the shoot can start.

If you would like to work with me you must be over 18yrs old and bring your ID with you. I am sorry but if you do not bring your ID with you then the shoot cannot take place. If you are under 18 we can arrange a shoot but your parent / guardian must sign your model release form with you and also accompany you to the shoot and have their ID with them at the shoot. They must also stay with you at all times during the shoot.

I do TFP or paid shoots dependent upon the requirements of each individual shoot, the model and me as the photographer, all of these details will be agreed between us before we arrange a shoot.
