Subject wise- my greatest interest is other people. I think people are beautiful. I think we are the most beautiful thing in the world. I believe if I could see nothing in the entire universe but one image- I would want to always see my wife's eyes and lips. Everything else, can be forgotten.
How does that translate to the outside? The most beautiful thing is the figure. My aim is to write poetry about the human form- with color and light.
There's a long tradition of figure work. And what can be done new, different- I think you run up on something new by not *trying* to be new- just trying to do well and what interests you.

I have five years experience in art schools, and I've been making art for a long long time. I take commissions as well. I'm full time self employed and all the headaches and wonders it brings.
