I am relatively new to Model Mayhem

I am a professional photographer based out of Sacramento (CA) but currently in Utah. My company name is PowerLight Studios I enjoy working as Wedding Photographer along with doing Engagement Sessions, Modeling Portfolios and Portraits and Advertising Product Photography.
I enjoy working with models to find a style that expresses who they are. It's important to me that the photos we take together are done in a respectful and artistic manner.  After-all the photos I take could help you get your next modeling job. 

I'm always open to new suggestions and like working with the model's goals in mind. My style of photography is very flexible depending upon the desires results , natural, sexy, and classy. I like to concentrate on a model's features that makes each of us unique. My rates are posted on my web site and if you are a Model Mayhem member I am willing to offer a substantial 35% discount (which includes a photo DVD).

I take my work very seriously at the same time This is what I love to do so I am having fun photographing people, products and events.  It is important to me that we have a fun creating great images together.  The ultimate goal would be to end up with photos that will help make you more commercially viable. My main focus is product advertising such as Food and Jewelry and commercial photography, along with Weddings, Special Events, and Nature photography.  I freelance work with Sacramento area news agencies to keep up my photo journalistic influences.

My favorite camera is the Mamiya RZ 67 medium format camera. Yes I am a traditional photographer and I still prefer to work with film and large format cameras however the Digital world is opening up so many new possibilities. Shooting with film has become a lost art these days, after all each photo you shoot runs about six-eight dollars each time you click the shutter. So you have to have everything just right before you release the shutter. Yes I am a film guy (Old school) yet rapidly becoming addicted to the digital world this too is a great medium to create fantastic photographs. 
I am based out of Sacramento / Elk Grove California and will travel anywhere! yes “have passport will travel.”

I have a couple of projects that I am working on. I will have much more time after September 25th to devote to this project. I am willing to do TFP for some modeling portfolios as I am also updating my portfolio and web site. I looked over my portfolio and found that I need to freshen it up a bit.

Other experiences include Videography & some Cinematography, Commercials & Sporting Events.

For me the center of attention in any project is the lighting and subject mater....thus the name “Power Light Studios”.  After all with out light…your in the dark.

I am looking for models with eyes that speak volumes and wanting to update their portfolio.
