I've been taking photographs all my life and studied photography at Yale under Gregory Crewdson. In those days I was working exclusively in 35mm film, but these days I'm either shooting digital or 6x6 film.

Younger in life, I was drawn to landscapes and abstraction. But the older I get, the more I'm drawn to the human figure and -- especially -- the human face. Fashion photography and portraiture are my current passions.

I'm particularly excited about Model Mayhem because I've learned that this is a collaborative art. I'm only half of the puzzle, and I take great inspiration from my models, their stories, and their personalities.

I relish the opportunity to meet a cross-section of models who have something to say when the camera is on.
