Turning his deepest emotions into smooth R&B, J Melody was designed to entertain and share his love for music. A devoted writer and vocalist, the music industry is beginning to experience the gifts of this young, genuine artist.

From the tender age of 3, J Melody was showcasing his musical gifts, singing to his family and moving to the tunes of Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye. The sounds of these icons, along with Maxwell, R. Kelly, Timberland and Usher have inspired J Melody to give his soul to his passion, music. This is evident with songs like “You”; J Melody takes listeners on a personal journey through his sounds.

The Toronto-native was born with music inside of him and in his family. His collaboration with Arion, his younger brother and talented producer, on the single “Stalker” is a testament to the family’s musical roots. “Music is everything to me,” says J Melody. “I see everything through it.”

His vision is in tune with the soul’s harmonies, which J Melody expresses through his lyrics. Although young, J Melody is a prolific songwriter that to date has written over 100 songs. With an EP released in 2009 that included hit singles like “Superstar” and “Midnight Luv” J Melody is only beginning to shine and fulfill his dream.

A resilient commitment to his craft has allowed J Melody to perform and serenade audiences across Western Canada. He is set to soon tour the country, hitting every major city. In 2012, J Melody will take his soothing voice across boarders and perform in Europe.

Fans and music lovers are guaranteed to be entertained with the release of his latest single, “Beautiful Woman”. School Boy, a musician that not only creates beats but also keeps Kardinal Official in rhythm as his official drummer, produces all of J Melody’s material.

J Melody was born with a gift to create and bring together beautiful lyrics with melodies. He is a Canadian musical talent that will soon be part of a roster of artists that represent the Country with full force.
