The Tennessee Fever is an expansion professional women's basketball team franchise in thier first year of existence founded in 2018 and competing in the Global Women's Basketball Association. The Global Women's Basketball Association was founded in 2016 . The GWBA is a professional women's basketball league, currently in its 3rd year of existence. The GWBA strives to ensure everyone within the GWBA embraces the pieces of togetherness and equality. The GWBA will always maintain a focus and pride of creating a product that not only provides great experiences, entertainment, and amazing atmosphere, but more importantly the GWBA will exhibit great sportsmanship in addition to competitive competition. The GWBA's players and staff are filled with passion, drive, dedication, and determination. Since 2016 the GWBA continues to recruit the top women basketball athletes from across the country to compete at the highest level on and off the court. As a league, the GWBA strives to build healthy family entertainment through our community events in each market where teams are creating and generating opportunities for women to continue to play the game they've grown to love and dreamed of playing on a professional platform. The Flint Monarch's won the first two league championships in the GWBA and are pursing a chance to three-peat.
