Driven by his desire to create a pair of denim tailored perfectly to fit his own taste, what started as a personal project soon took an unexpected turn into something much larger. Founder of Clutch Couture, Derik Hirozawa spent many years traveling and studying various fashion scenes all the while absorbing the best aspects from each culture. It was this desire to incorporate all these ideas into a single brand which would bring you daily couture for your fashion forward lifestyle. This young entrepreneur made the move from his home town in the Bay area to Los Angeles to bring you his line, Clutch Couture.


Currently Clutch Couture places its main focus on its denim products and will eventually incorporate other items for a full line. All Clutch Couture denim jeans are made from 100% organic cotton denim that is hand-woven and hand-dyed in Okayama, Japan on short looms with a self-edge, which gives the jeans its unique character. The jeans are then manufactured in Los Angeles with non-sweatshop labor.  The inspiration for this premiering denim line is "jeans at their best." By using the highest quality denim, wash techniques, and manufacturing, and then combining that with a great fit and great comfort you get a pair of jeans that you will never want to take off.
