Luigi Reale of Arte Immagine Photography is a freelance photographer based in Chelmsford, Essex, England.

Many people in my life today inspire me.

Friends, family, photographers, art, music, and cinema continue to have an influence on me and the way I vision my photography.

When I first started having an interest in photography, I followed great artists such as Bettina Rheims, Helmut Newton and Ellen Von Unwerth.

I still admire their work today, of course.

Photography is my calling, my passion, and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday.

I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph people and the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest, and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the art of photography. I wrestle with every image I shoot.

I assume perfection is possible and I want to wring it out of every picture. If that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very, very well.
