About Me
I am a freelance MUA/Hair stylist with over 17 years experience. I arrive on time, ready to work and have a fully stocked kit. I Love what I do! I am professional in attitude and appearance. I am fun to work with... No DRAMA! I am able to handle high pressure situations and am good at keeping the talent happy and relaxed. I have been trained in makeup/hair for Film, Television and Print. I also have extensive experience in theatrical/fantasy makeup. I am a "go-with-the-flow" person, eg: If what we thought was going to work doesn't, I can improvise well and am not a diva about my "Art". While I do consider myself an artist, at the end of the day, I am there to help create an overall look that works best for the finished project.
I am available for hire as an assistant all the way to Key Makeup/Hair design working with production design team to achieve the desired look and feel for the production. My rates vary depending on the project and my level of involvement. I use elea blake cosmetics (http://eleablake.com/), a pure mineral makeup that I custom blend to match the skin tones of each model for a flawless and natural finish. The makeup looks amazing on anyone and gives a defused look without having to apply a ton of product. I am interested in the creative collaboration shared between artists. I enjoy the entire process from concept to the final product. I can be contacted through email at: [email protected] I am local in the Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA region. However, I have worked in NYC and LA and if the project is right, I am able to travel. I will consider TFP shoots if I like the overall concept of the shoot, and I have some creative licence in order to ensure I get the looks I need for my book. Resume and Rates available upon request.
