Hi, I'm Megan. I'm a multidisciplinary conceptual artist originally from Alaska. I relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2010 and received my BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2014. I've been working as a professional artist since then in a variety of mediums and capacities including installations at festivals, live painting at events, exhibitions, commissioned drawing and painting works, licensed images for music albums, writing, dance, and artistic modeling.

I've spent most of my energy the last four years on cultivating my brand/identity as a visual artist/painter, and my modeling experience is fairly limited as a result. I've done a handful of shoots, mostly collaborative work with other artists who know me and whose photography work I admire. I'm looking to build my portfolio and connect with other artists! I love modeling and the experiences I've had so far have been consistently fun, inspiring, and mutually beneficial. I often travel up and down the West Coast/Canada and I'm always interested in getting into projects with artists whose style and passion complements my own. I'm associated with the underground electronic (bass) music and countercultural communities of Portland and have connection with the related creative communities in the SF/Bay Area. I'm also part the Burning Man community. My deepest origin, however, is rooted in Fine Art culture and my most fundamental identity is as a Conceptual artist, meaning that my personality is my constant work of art in progress and sharing it as cohesive part of my visual work is something I do consistently, in writing and speech. My career as a Fine Artist is currently evolving and transitioning to encompass my entrance into the field of Counseling Psychology and Expressive Art Therapy, as a large passion of mine is promoting the essential healing relationship between art, consciousness, and mental health.

I'd love to be involved in creative projects and shoot at thoughtfully curated sites, urban or natural, depending on the context and vision. I'm a fashion enthusiast and a designer in my own right; always excited at the opportunity to showcase my style or the work of other designers. I love working with women but I'm open to any and all good professional connections, and look forward to building on/up a stellar network of awesome people. :)
