Software executive by day, aspiring "Steve Huston" all other times, I am looking to build my expertise in figure drawing. A lifelong "natural" ability artist who was adverse to academia when I could have chosen that path, I have now embarked on a mission of self edification in the art of human gesture and structure to rectify that decision. Art has always been a constant thread weaved through my everyday, whether in my writing, doodles, home design, or on some occasions even commercial ventures. Through the years I have come to define that ability in my various outlets, but not in fine art, which is what I yearn for.

I have been working with mostly amateur models found through Craigslists, and it has brought me into contact with many wonderful models, which has enriched my art and experience greatly. They told me about Model Mayhem, and that posting modeling gigs on your site would give me an even greater exposure to many different kinds of models. For me, repetition and experience are going to be key to success. I am hoping that by becoming a member I can enter into a collective of like minded and extremely talented people.
