My life, begun in Istanbul 54 years ago, has been spent in Strasbourg for the past 20 years or so. My real profession is so time-consuming that, I could only qualify myself as a quite experimented but amateur photographer. And if I am bewitched by feminine nude photography, it is simply because my timid nature. It all begun the day I found a Polaroid SX-70 at a flea market, at a time when films were refreshingly accessible to my pocket. One fine day, however, my two Muses and I parted ways and I found myself alone with a Nikon F3. Analogue photography was a joyful experience until the day the only shop I could fully trust to develop my negatives went bankrupt. After a brief spell of digital frustration, distinguished by thousands of images and hundreds of hours of lamenting the allmighty Photoshop, I felt that time had come to retrace my steps towards the instant photography with blurry lights, unreal colours, chemical suprises, volatile expressions and the ever so inscrutable women. Thus, a couple of years ago, I have immersed myself yet again in the packs of polaroid and fuji, of all possible formats and expiry dates. Ethically speaking, it is enought for me to say that I never speak of « photo models », of « shooting a model » or « beautiful beauties » … I speak of « collaborators », « working in tandem » and of « Shibumi » (but explaining this would take too long). As I have already mentioned, I am very timid. That is why, on every occasion, I strive to see « La femme », but I do not look at her. In all modesty, I am just trying to catch a glimpse of a tension behind a skin, a countenance behind a face or an accessible spark of womanhood behind its inacessible tempest. I know this is not a great achievement… but it is endless enough.  You don't see any verified credits yet in Model Mayhem, because I'm a newby here, despite more than 30 collaborators I worked with, who are not registred in Model Mayhem, except two.
