I've been doing photography since I was 12, but seriously for about 20 years now (started with a Color Darkroom!!! can't live without Photoshop now!). I have done a wide range of things, from landscape to sport, but my real passion is people photography. I love to showcase the beauty and personality of the models I work with.

Why do I love photography? Well, it's something concrete. I've been a performing artist (piano) for many years. But doing music is very ephemeral in nature. All this work, so many hours put into preparing a performance, then nothing left! It's a bit like sports, you're only as good as your last performance, and then people forget.

I still have a passion for music, but the photographic creation process is satifying for a different reason. Although some pictures age better than others, you can always look back at your work and say "I created this image, isn't this cool!".

I am interested in working with models in the Ottawa/Gatineau area or models who travel in this area. I am mostly looking for models interested in Time for Print, as this is a self funded hobby, but will consider reimbursing model expenses or reasonable fees. If you have a personnal project on your side, let me know. It's always fun to contribute to other people's projects.

I am relaxed, with a good sense of humour, and believe that this is essential in making great shots. Photography should be fun!
