Dzyno (pronounced GEE-no) is a storyteller and explorer. Each image presented represents part of a deeply personal story and ongoing journey; be it his own or another's.

In his work, Dzyno seeks to engage viewers in a thoughtful dialogue on "presence." Forgoing popularized methods of crafting an image to manipulate a reaction or emotion based on known physiological and psychological triggers, Dzyno asks viewers to be intentional in examining his images. To want to stop and have a chat between viewer and image. Much in the same way perhaps as stopping to chat with a stranger you've passed daily in your neighborhood; the one who has seemingly become a backdrop to your daily life; an, almost, residual haunting of sorts, repeating itself in some manner.

In a time of gratuitous excess, when everything is "over-done" in an attempt to distinguish ones' self in an attempt to gain, or at least present to the public, an idealized lifestyle, Dzyno asks, "can we no longer enjoy something for simply for the sake of enjoyment and finding pleasure, or just satisfaction, in the moment? Or shall we continue to allow the experts, critics, pundits, analysts, and curators steal our joy of simply liking what we like and understanding ourselves deeper by thinking about our surroundings better."

Stop, say hello, have a discussion, and find a reason to be absolutely amazed by what you never noticed of what right in front of you all the time. This is the essence an image by Dzyno.
