My makeup artist experiences started when I was in art college from 2007-2011. There, the photography majors would call me, a no name Illustration major and makeup enthusiast, whenever they had a fashion photoshoot to be done and needed someone to glam up the models.

Working with models and photographers was really fun since it allowed me to be more creative with makeup and execute all sorts styles and ranges due to the out-of-the-box themes and photoshoot subjects. Since then, I have been a freelance makeup artist for a few years and done makeup for various types of clients including bridal, bridesmaids, sweet 16s, makeovers, parties, etc.

One of the reasons I wanted to join Model Mayhem was so that I could work with models again due to the fun projects that they can bring to the table and seeing my work displayed on various media is very satisfying and exciting to me just like visual art! I also think being a part of this website would really help my solo business and expand my clientele.
