My interest in photography started while attending Lexington High School in Massachusetts. In my senior year I had the first solo exhibit took place at the Gary Memorial Library. Following high school, I studied fine art at the Montserrat School of Visual Arts and later photography as a fine art at Rochester Institute of Technology. At R.I.T. I learned the importance of the science behind the art. For over twenty years I have resided in Northern Nevada.

My passion is to make photographs that evoke emotions and/or creates a sense of time and space. My work is based on the belief that a fine art photograph should have some aspect that invites the viewer to engage their imagination with the image. It should capture something more than an person, object or a location. My figurative work has been in the Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery. It also has been shown at the Brewery Art Center as part of a one man show. Both of these locations are in Carson City. In June 2019 my work with be in Reno at the Sierra Arts Foundation Gallery.
