Photography has been my artistic medium of choice since a young age. I love the freedom of spontaneous creation that the camera provides, as well as the ease of highlighting the beauty of everyday life through this tool.

I recently relocated to Portland for graduate studies after having traveled (and photographed!) extensively in Asia and North America. My subject matter has focused mainly on subtle patterns in the natural world, cultural curiosities, and transforming the ordinary into the abstract. Having sharpened my eye with these forms, I would now like to expand my artistic scope to include photographing more people as well.

My approach to photography is organic and playful, and I value meaningful simplicity in my work. As such, I take advantage of natural light and elements, use minimal equipment, welcome the unexpected when shooting, and remove myself from the process as much as possible to allow the inherent feeling of a place, situation, or person to shine through the final image.

I'm grateful to collaborate with interested members for personal enjoyment and as a welcome creative outlet in a busy world, and at the opportunity to help models strengthen and expand their personal portfolios in the process.
