Harris Photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... “It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Do not confuse beauty with beautiful. Beautiful is a human judgment. People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.

My name is LeRoy Harris, everybody calls me LEE. Photography has been my hobby for about 3 years but I've been doing it professionally for 4 years.

I'm a different kind of photographer. I don't care about labels. Models always ask me about styles. Some want fashion, some want editorial, some want this and some want that. I just shoot. I shoot according to what feels right to me at the time. I never set out to do a particular style.

I enjoy the creativity of photography. I enjoy meeting a model in an agreed upon location and seeing her style and experiencing her personality, then taking that style and personality and incorporating that with great lighting and interesting locations and seeing what we come up with. When I shoot a woman I want to show her personality FIRST, then her curves. I always say - anyone can capture your physical image -  but it really takes talent to capture your personality.

I am always building my portfolio & would love to do some projects with other models & photographers in the future. I am  interested in shooting people from other cultures & ethnic backgrounds, particularly if you embrace what is unique about your culture and want to bring that into a photograph. If you are interested in doing any photo shoots with me please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm available to do  TFCD shoots to build my portfolio...and to help you build yours.The goal being helping out both our careers in the Art/Print arena.
