Hi all, I'm Victor Gomez, I'm a photographer Based in San Jose, California. I have been a photographer for over 10 years now. Most of my work has been for social events such as weddings, parties, etc. I'm now trying to expand my porfolio to individual portraits, headshots and some modeling and expand my horizons overall. I have never really worked with anyone that hasnt been a bride, groom or quinceañera or part of one. I've done family Sessions but almost always stems from a wedding or quince so my works has always derived from social events.

I'm interested in exploring different art forms and try other shoots at least once. My main interest are portraits, individual or group, but more of a styled shoot nature and not family shoot type of sessions. Sports portraits, Maternity, and perhaps some cosplay, I'm not too drawn to fashion/erotic/swimwear but I would like to at least give it a shot at one or all those genres.

For my professional work I focus on fun lively images but I'm more drawn to more moodier tones for my private work. I love the look of melancholic portraits, Low key portraits over high key any time of the day although I will shoot both. I wouldn't necessarily say Film Noir but certainly in that direction.

All in all I want to make time to shoot for myself, for the sake of creating something for my visual soul and not a commissioned or paid project where I have to deliver and answer to a paying client. That's what weddings are for :) I don't have much to show in the way of what I want to shoot so lets create something together.
