Juan Suárez is a Colombian professional photographer and filmmaker, based in the city of Medellín, Colombia. His titles are awarded by the University of Medellín and the School of Photography and Fashion Photography Fotodesign Medellín.

For his interest in the direction of cinematographic photography and in the production design, he has complemented his studies with courses of cinematographic and documentary appreciation, direction of photography and cinematographic assembly, in a transit towards the unification of his two passions, managing to print them an appearance cinematographic to his stories in photography.

The discipline, the curiosity, the study of lighting and the design of production are the pillars that add value to their photographic projects, in which the photographic process of fashion, commercial photography and portrait as a plastic resource is evident.

As a whole, the creative result of the artist reaffirms the convictions, in which for a desired result, it is indispensable matter the success in the application of the technique, the constancy and the honest and close bond that must exist between photographer and the portrayed.

Por su interés en la dirección de fotografía cinematográfica y en el diseño de producción, ha complementado sus estudios con cursos de apreciación cinematográfica y documental, dirección de fotografía y montaje cinematográfico, en un tránsito hacia la unificación de sus dos pasiones, logrando imprimirles una apariencia cinematográfica a sus relatos en fotografía.

La disciplina, la curiosidad, el estudio de la iluminación y el diseño de producción son los pilares que le suman valor a sus proyectos fotográficos, en los cuales se evidencia el proceso fotográfico de moda, la fotografía comercial y el retrato como recurso plástico.

En conjunto, el resultado creativo del artista reafirma las convicciones, en que para una resultante deseada, son materia indispensable el acierto en la aplicación de la técnica, la constancia y el honesto y estrecho vínculo que debe existir entre fotógrafo y el retratado.
