I studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC about 20 years ago. I tried the acting thing; courses, showcases, way off Broadway plays, auditioning but in the end decided to focus on growing my business (snack distribution). Now 20 years later, the acting bug has bitten again. I feel I am now better equipped as I have 20 more years of life experience to draw upon for my emotional portfolio (including a marriage, a divorce, fatherhood). I've also been practicing meditation for the past 15 years. Meditation has greatly improved my power of focus which I believe is another valuable asset I can draw upon. I consider modeling to be an offshoot of acting and am very eager to try my hand at it as well.

Over the last 5 years I've become very actively volunteering my time and skills to a couple of nonprofit organizations (one based in Uganda and the other based in Nepal). One of my motivations to pursue the acting/modeling arts is I plan to donate my earnings (at least the first $25,000 (hey, I'm thinking positive here...) to charity.
