I am a fine artist who specializes in oil and watercolor who paints directly from life, for the most part, unless the circumstance doesn't allow it. I've been working professionally as a fine art painter over 30 years, and, for the first twenty five of those years, also as an illustrator, designer, art director, creative director, college professor, and principal of my own firm. I stopped doing any commercial work in 2007 and have focused on my fine art painting and private instruction ever since. I am well known for my plein air and occasional figurative work. Here in the US and abroad. I am considerate and careful with my models and when I work with them, I do so with respect. I am widely collected and have three paintings in two museums.

I paint all over the world, and am interested in combining my outdoor landscapes with figurative work, which is why I am interested in sourcing models from Model Mayhem.
