A massive 25+ years’ experience providing imagery and high-end creative visions.
I started as a junior designer, through to senior designer and then creative director—my path winding its way through London and the home counties. From pasting up adverts for newspapers when I was 17, to directing a location film crew at Almeria racetrack in southern Spain for a British Superbike Team, and then editing and re-editing all 16 hours of rushes in FinalCut... I’ve done a lot.
I have been involved in casting for reshoots of national television commercials, scripting and directing voice-overs in high-end Soho editing suites. I have photographed the Royal Air Force, created campaigns from concept to fruition for Mercedes-Benz UK, pitching against top London agencies. I’ve been the art director, and the creative director. I’ve been the designer and the copy writer. I’m art and director. I am experience.
I’ve named million pound companies, researched through Companies House, being the intermediary when purchasing the connecting online presence and url. Controlling the creative identity paramount to perception, consciousness and ultimately recognition, I have actually rebranded two creative agencies—realigning them within their peer-group.
To some creativity is nothing—to others it’s everything and more. To me it is freedom. It’s a carefree beauty to be cherished, an art to be honed with passion—integrity, the one true destination.
I love shooting live—bands, weddings, people. I love my prime lenses, selective focus, found light. I have my studio space, which is all lovely and white and peaceful and serene and calm (they all mean the same don’t they…) Honestly, I shoot for me. Even though you pay me. I offer you myself, my utmost, my best. I offer you something no-one else can offer you—me.
I shoot—therefore I am.
