I am Christie Allison and for the last year I have worked as a photo model. I got pulled into modeling randomly, on social media - specifically Instagram. I am currently finishing up my masters degree in psychology and have a passion for helping people. As mainly a mental health advocate on social media, I had been surprised about receiving multiple modeling offers on Instagram but decided to try it. I realized after a few photoshoots that I have a huge passion for being in front of the camera, am artistic in nature and appreciate good design - both of which have been extremely beneficial for me in my modeling career. I do not have a lot of experience in modeling, but I am a hard worker and every photographer I’ve worked with has wanted to work with me again. I am currently a freelance model and have worked with several individual photographers. I am available for photoshoots in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, but available to travel to other destinations in the US. I am fairly tall (5’6”), long hair natural brunette with olive skin and green eyes, which makes me a good model for a variety of different styles of photography, especially portrait. My facial structure is very versatile, with defined cheekbones, which has been a great advantage in my photos. I realize that any modeling opportunities I get will give me more exposure on social media, which will ultimately help my cause of being a mental health advocate for young people.
