I'm Ima Otto-During a first generation Sierra Leonian- American. I add the Sierra Leonian part because even though I was born in America. I feel deep connected to my culture, although I am still influenced by western culture; born and being raised in America. My identity greatly influences my art. It's the tale of a young woman balancing between two different words. Trying to find the puzzle pieces to happiness.
