Every person or location has something unique or different, and I try to find what those rare aspects are, so I can photograph them. Photography is my medium of expression. Art is in the eye of the beholder, but the most important beholder is you.

Composition is really a combination of form, rhythm, and pattern, with light helping to shape the texture or emphasize the subject, truly painting with light. This is very much like master painters using various shades of color to create depth and structure.

Hopefully, the photograph will captivate the eye, draw on feelings of beauty and convey a sense of strong emotion; Love, Hate, Joy, or Sorrow. The cliché is “A picture is worth a thousand words”. What are those words? What do these images evoke in the viewer? Why are they moved?

I have been taking photos for almost my entire life. I have always been interested in the world around me and wanted to record that information so I would remember where I was and what I did while I was there.

My main influences are Monet, Manet, Man Ray, and Patrick Nagel. I would love to find a muse to help me create create and honor the work of these accomplished artists.

All I want to do is create stunning photographs with visual interest and publish my work. The ultimate goal is to create a memorable image or a body of work that will stand for all time.
