About Kyle

Kyle Basile is a professional photographer based in Idaho with decades of experience behind the camera. Coming from a family deeply rooted in photography—including glamour, portrait, editorial, and military aerial photography—he developed an appreciation for visual storytelling at an early age.

Throughout his career, Kyle has worked with models, artists, entrepreneurs, and professionals to create imagery that balances technical excellence with authentic expression. His approach combines creativity, attention to detail, and a relaxed shooting environment that helps clients feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process.

His work has been featured in both print and digital publications, including Inked Magazine, The Taj Mahal Journal, and The Riff, an annual publication showcasing inspiring photographic work from artists around the world.

What to Expect

Every session begins with a conversation about your goals, style, and vision for the shoot. Whether you arrive with a fully developed concept or only a general idea, we’ll work together to create a plan that produces strong, meaningful images.

During the session, you’ll receive guidance on posing, expression, movement, and body positioning. My goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on enjoying the experience while we create exceptional photographs.

No prior modeling experience is required. Many of my favorite images have been created with people stepping in front of a professional camera for the very first time.

Professional Environment

All sessions are conducted in a respectful, professional, and collaborative environment.

Models and clients are welcome to bring a guest for comfort and support during the session. To maintain a productive shooting environment, please limit accompanying guests to no more than two individuals.

Models under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the session.

Clear communication regarding concepts, wardrobe, expectations, and boundaries is established before every shoot to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

Hair & Makeup

Hair and makeup are generally the responsibility of the model or client unless otherwise arranged.

If professional hair and makeup services are desired, I am happy to coordinate with trusted makeup artists and stylists to help complete your vision.

Creative Collaborations

Great photography often begins with great ideas.

If you have a concept, theme, location, wardrobe idea, or creative project you’d like to explore, I encourage you to reach out. I enjoy collaborating with creative individuals who are passionate about bringing unique ideas to life.

Select portfolio collaborations may be considered when the concept offers strong artistic value, creative growth, or mutual portfolio development.

Communication & Scheduling

Professionalism and communication are important to every successful project.

If you reach out regarding a shoot, please be prepared to respond in a timely manner throughout the planning process. Likewise, I make every effort to communicate promptly and professionally.

Confirmation is required before all scheduled sessions. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require a retainer before future bookings can be scheduled.

If you submit for a casting opportunity and are not selected for a particular project, please do not be discouraged. Different projects require different looks, styles, and personalities, and future opportunities may be a better fit.
