He was born in 1965 in Dornbirn, Austria.
Photography has already fascinated him in his youth. He made the first attempts with an analogue Braun Sucherkamera of his father.
He has photographed himself - as so many famous photographers - autodidactically.
At the beginning still analog with the mother of the modern SLR and lenses with manual focus (Canon T90). Later, digital with up-to-date equipment.
In his photographic way, he has always visited courses and workshops with well-known photographers in order to get input for his further development from external sources. Each shoot and project has different challenges, with which one is intensively explored and thereby also always there.
He found for himself the people photography, which makes him the most fun.
His fascination with people and the photographing of the different characters at unusual locations fascinate him. To organize and carry out special projects, he is fascinating, not just putting someone in front of the screen and taking photos. Which is the best pose? What is the best expression of the model? How must the light be set optimally so that the make-up is not attenuated by the flash? There are many parameters that must be right for an optimal result.
He also gives his photographic knowledge to workshops. The range covers e.g. Photography in general, phototechnics, portrait photography, outdoor photography or studio photography and image processing.
He loves to do brilliant projects with great teams!
For him, the photographer does not "only" take the picture! It is teamwork, everyone can contribute: teamwork, fun, creativity! It's a people shoot for him! With the team a couple of hundred kilometers to hammer venues to drive and make great pictures, what is more beautiful?
Since he is a photographer and less an image editor, he appreciates the best of a shoot as a photographer. In addition to a perfect light setup, the perfect make-up and outfit is indispensable. "This saves many hours of work for the photographer in postprocessing". Finally, he claimed to get the best from every picture.
