The Look Makeup Artistry is made up of the creative and imaginative stylings of LaRaunce, a professional makeup artist in the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan area. 

LaRaunce studied at the Bennett Career Institute located in DC. She was immersed into the industry with training from some of the most notable individuals in the makeup world.  Those include Sam Fine, Michael Devellis, Danessa Myricks, Cyndi Lane, AJ Crimson, Valente' Frazier, Aisha Ferguson, Tym Buacharern, J. Sterling, Sylvia & John of Temptu, and not to mention the one and only Mr. Chet A. Bennett himself. "Beauty is his business."

Among those skills acquired were business accumen, professionalism, makeup for motion pictures, bridal makeup, makeup for television, multi-dimensional makeup, and airbrushing techniques for glamour as well as fantasy based designs. 

LaRaunce prides herself on the ability to interact with individuals from all walks of life and in various industries.  These skills have allowed her to understand her clients' visions and translate those visions via her makeup artistry stylings.  It is her belief that beauty is an inherent quality... we all have it.  However, it is packaged in several different ways.  What she hopes to gain from the Model Mayhem experience are longstanding professional relationships, various opportunities for continuing to develop her craft & acquisition of work, beneficial learning and teaching experiences while mingling with fellow artists, and the growth of an unlimited network on her road to continued success in the beauty industry.

It is our ability to stand out that makes us beautiful in addition to our personalities and talents. People take notice of your look when forming their initial general impressions of us.
