I'm an amateur photographer and just started shooting not too long ago.  Ever since I started shooting I have been unable to put down the camera.  My goal at the moment is just to work on my photography skills as a whole.  I enjoy many styles of photography and would like the opportunity to learn as much as I can.  My goal for model mayhem is just to get better at portrait photography.  I don't often get the chance shoot portraits and I believe that being a member of model mayhem will afford me more opportunities to shoot and practice my craft.

--Just as a little update.  Since joining this site a few weeks ago I've been on two shoots.  I've had a lot of fun shooting and met a lot of great people in such a short amount of time.  Already I've seen a marked improvement in my photography.  While my skills are nowhere near many of the photographers on this site, I'm happy with my work and thats what really counts.  I'm plan to keep on shooting to hone my craft.  Along the way I hope that I continue to meet more great people.
