I take photographs and write articles for magazines in the UK and Spain, including the Amorist, Movement and Vice amongst others. I have been known to tour with bands doing reportage photography and have shot a lot of music photography from the Last Shadow Puppets to Yoko Ono to Andrew Weatherall, as well as being a fervent supporter of the unsigned scene in London.
My personal preference has always been for nude and fine art photography with an emphasis on bold contrasts and usually black and white. My favourite photographers are too numerous to mention many, but a few that i always bring up are Sam Haskins, Man Ray, Bill Brandt, Bailey, Pat Pope and Vivian Maier.
I have recently archived and forgotten about my entire previous portfolio and I am in the process of starting again with a focus on outside-of-the-studio work, shooting more on location with minimal light and trying to capture more of the feeling of the city I now live in.
I live in London but spend a lot of time in Barcelona, where I lived for around 4 years until recently. I would love to work with people who really understand either of these cities.
I work with film and digital, and will be happy to work TFP if the project is right for both of us.
Aside from that I occasionally make music, and I rarely write.
