I have taken up modelling, after retiring from teaching. I am looking to work with vibrant, creative people, to push the boundaries, change conventions and expectations of the modelling industry and society, looking at feminity across the older age group.
I have undertaken many photo shoots and have more lined up in a variety of genres including nude / erotic, mostly paid but I will consider TFP if it enhances my portfolio. I judged Mr and Miss Diversity 2017 and modelled for photographic workshops.
I'm relaxed and unfazed in front of camera, love being involved in new projects, easy to work with and take direction well. I'm confident working with people in both studio and outdoor settings to convey the images required and considered versatile . People claim I look like Helen Mirren. I’m thought not to look or act my age and appear much younger. As an ex-teacher I'm definitely professional, reliable, patient, able to travel and available.
Life does not stop at 40. Existence, fashion and lifestyle is not simply about flowery dresses, elasticated waists and the safety of convention. I want to convey an edgy, more genuine, energy, expressive of deeper possibilities that are too often constrained within society. I would be happy to shoot in ‘living’ settings, including busy street locations, possibly in monochrome, in such a way as to emphasise by creating contrasts the metaphor of ‘breaking out of the mould’.
As an Extra I have participated in 3 films as a Scientist and Kreepa in Tricell films Case Studies, a rock chick/ gang member in Tad, Bad Dad and a picnicker in Lala's Ladies. Again both paid and unpaid.
