I discovered photography when I was a boy thanks to my father's Rolleiflex.
A great desire to shot and experiment until I find myself in the darkroom. Tank, spiral and acids to develop b&w Ilford negatives. Then the magic of the Enlarger with images that are animating on photographic paper.
Until 2014 I was the CEO of a Publishing House distributed throughout Italy. My long experience in publishing I think gave me "one eye more" besides that one standard "photographic".
My route is primarily developed on reportage photography thanks to luck to have been able to travel extensively, especially sailing with sailing vessels.
Then a small breakthrough. Passion and curiosity lead me to experiment with fashion and portrait photographyto and advertising photography which I'm dedicating myself with commitment.
Shortly afterwards I also dedicate to a more interpretative photography as glamour and nude art, also shooting in analog. Genres to which I’m dedicating myself with passion also thanks to the enthusiasm transmitted by teachers, professional photographers and artists I was lucky to meet and from which you never stop learning.
I love to shoot inside the studio and create with artificial light, but generally I prefer outdoors shootings interacting with natural light and the surrounding environment, especially when the stage is made up of my greatest love ever: The Sea.
The Rolleiflex is always by my side together with its digital sisters. I take it in my hand, the load, I focus on the subject and, unintentionally, also the memories contained in it.
I shot. And once again I get excited.
