About Me

Hello, MM!
I am a former commercial photographer, chasing after the art side of the photographic equation. I have studied photography and sculpture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and worked for about 10 years in NYC area and in Europe, mostly in catalog, fashion and some fun advertising projects.
At this stage, I make a living as an industrial designer and would like to pursue the artistic part of photography where ever it may lead....
I am looking for creative, strong personalities as models. My primary interest is in the beauty and strength of the individual, someone who might not necessarily fit a standard description of a model. I value confidence and expression, strong imagination and bravery to experiment. I do not want to place any limits to the type of modeling I am looking for at this stage. Anything goes, as long as it is artistic, expressive and sincere.
  Update:
After a few years worth of hiatus from studio and portrait photography, I am glad to take it up again. Other art forms took precedence, life events came to the forefront...
I have set up a reasonable studio of my own, well equipped and growing.
Also, at this point, I will be looking to hire models for art projects of my own... unless someone can convince me otherwise. I would like to develop a series of figurative images involving neutral, mostly white lit space. Partial figures, body parts and portraits will dominate. Skin tone and textures will be mostly sought after, elegant motion and gestures will be appreciated.
  I will compensate models as agreed, paid or by an exchange of services.
