My name is Liz. I was born in Liberia and moved to America when I was nine years old. When I was in Africa I always dreamed of coming to America and creating a better opportunity for myself, but when I made it to America the culture shock got to me and changed my mindset on my plans. I was so shy to communicate with people so I kept to myself a lot. Eventually as I gotten older people would approach me and tell me how great I look. I would read magazines and see the latest fashion and I decided I wanted to look the way other people did, but I love my culture and I like to show a great mix of my Liberian culture with the American culture. I want to model because I love how I look and want to show other girls that beauty is in all colors and cultures.
