Creative from an early age, Nathan explored several mediums - interactive media, short film, and writing. It wasn't until later, when he discovered oil painting that he found what he had been searching for. From the smell of linseed oil to the distinct marks left by a bristle brush, oil painting felt right from the very start.

For over 6 years he's been honing his skills under the instruction of several of today's top contemporary artists. His work focuses on the figure as a means to convey emotion. He views each painting as a chance to help the viewer stop and feel something genuine. He seeks to show the quiet moments, often overlooked, when our defenses are down and we are lost in ourselves. His works can be found in private collections across the country.
Nathan lives in Burlington, Vermont with his wife and trusted Samoyed.
