The whole dream began when my older sister (the tall one) and I took a basic modeling class together several years ago. We learned about runway, posing, even how to do our makeup the right way. I was in love with the glamour of it all and being able to portray yourself or a message through fashion.
Unfortunately, I was never signed with an agency as a young teenager. I kind of lost hope through the years, until one of my dear friends started up a studio locally. He is a model with Neal Hamil and his partner is a photography professor at Texas A&M (my alma mater, whoop!). We have done a few photoshoots together.
I am interested in Model Mayhem because I want to branch out and get experience with more photographers for my portfolio. I also want to learn more about the industry itself and what it takes to become a professional model.
