"The fantasy of pragmatism and expressionism enveloped in fashion, the new hybrid" is his self-described aesthetic.

Marxchristiansen, of Guyanese and American ancestry, was raised in Washington D.C. and is currently based in New York. Having taken an interest in art and painting at a very young age, he developed an interesting fascination with the emotional reaction, energy, and illusion that fashion and photography provides to people in the world and across cultures. Majoring in Fashion Retail Management at The Art Institute of Washington, after college he channeled his artistic expression to photography and fashion design; choosing to teach himself than go the traditional route.

Currently readying for the debut of his first capsule collection of fine art, photography and limited lifestyle goods "Variables", his breadth of knowledge; acquired through schooling and pure passion will be on display for all to see.
