Born and raised in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, I decided to go to school as far away as I could and still stay in the state. Four and a half years later, I graduated from college and headed South to escape the six months of winter. I've lived in the Iowa flatlands for 10 years now, working in Engineering.My photography has been a side hobby for a number of years now, where I've honed my craft, mostly on macros, photos with people, and landscapes. Some continuous projects include signs of nature coexisting with an urban environment and anything involving bodies of water. As a mostly amateur photographer, I've got some experience with photographing people. However, I want to expand my knowledge and skillset, working with experienced or amateur models to do so.
