About Me
Josh Lobel is a freelance photographer based in New York City. His passion lies in capturing individually unique moments - images that capture the humanity and emotion of people in their most natural state.
A graduate of CUNY Hunter College, Josh began his photography career as Senior Photographer of his school's fashion and culture publication, Cult. Magazine. He was a founding member of the magazine in 2012, and as a senior became Co-Director of Photography. Currently, Josh works as a Live-Content Creator for Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League. He captures diverse content that has been published on various social media platforms for MLB, NHL, the New York Yankees, the New Jersey Devils and other sports clubs. I wanted to introduce a new photo studio, Brooklyn 315. It was started and is run by myself and fellow artist. We recently acquired the space and are now opening it up to share with the community. It’s a beautiful 525 sq ft space with giant window and 12’ ceilings, lots of amenities, equipment, etc.
