I am 26 years old and very new to the modeling world. I was born and raised as a small town farm girl in Nebraska and grew up and graduated high school in North Dakota where I lived until just recently moving to Colorado. I always considered my self a tie-dye sheep growing up, as much as I tried I never fit it. I was over weight, hardly had any friends; basically the quiet girl that sat in the corner with absolutely no drive to be anything better then what my classmates said I was, definitely wasn't anything special to turn any heads, let along be the girl in the picture. Moving to Colorado definitely changed my life. I moved here and discovered who I was. "You don't know who you are until you have no one and are all alone. After only living here for 2 years I learned to love myself as well as truly smile. Self awareness is the most amazing feeling with no words to fairly describe it. Since moving to CO I have lost 90 lbs but gained it all back in confidence, drive, and happiness. My life motto is "Get it Girl"..as its tattooed across my toe knuckles for a constant reminder to always hold my head up high. I never pictured myself as a model until one random Saturday my good friend asked if I wanted to do a photo shoot with her, hesitant and excited thinking it would be a bust I agreed simply for the fact is was something I could cross off my bucket list,, The joke was on me all because of my friend and that one shoot and now a modeling career is actually a thing for me and it is slowly but surely starting to take off.. it feels amazing not because its actually going somewhere but because I get to be an example to all the ladies out there struggling, if Ashtyn can do it, then anyone can. Its not cocky its confident and that's a huge difference.
